So a lot of people like to do summaries of what happens during the week. Heres what happened this week in Nocedal!
Monday: Everything fell through. Walked around and did contacting all day
Tuesday: Lo mismo
Wednesday: Everything fell through. Walked around and did contacting all day
Thursday: Everything fell through. Walked around and did contacting all day.
Friday: We got into one house, really cool family. We invited a kid to come to our english class in the blocks, but he didnt show up... Taught English for 2 hours
Saturday: Everything fell through. Walked around and did contacting all day. We got bikes!
Sunday: Everything fell through. Walked around and did contacting all day
I think Im getting pretty sinken good at contacting now. Lots of doors, lots of rejection, lots of pamphlets. We got a couple of good future investigators, but no one that was super interested. Suposively, we have a golden investigador that I havent met yet. The first question he asked DueƱas and Miller when they contacted his house is "do you guys have the authority to baptise?". They said yes and they got in. Apparently hes super nice and super prepared. I cant wait to meet him and his family.
So Im losing weight! We dont get a lot of food in this sector, and we are forced to buy lunches almost everyday, which drains your allowed grocery money, by a ton. Im limiting myself to only 20 US Dollars a week now... Im doing a super diet so I can get some food in me in the mornings now. Our bishop is super nice though, he occasionally drops by with bread and butter so we dont starve during the week. And if we see him in the street he will give us 2 mil in pesos so we can go get ourselves some completos. I love that dude. Most greengo chilean here. We ate BBQ ribs at his house... Oh, I miss home...
I hit 8 months soon! Next week. I am more than one quarter done with my mission now, almost a half... It really doesnt feel like it. When they say "enjoy your mission while it still lasts" they seriously mean it. Time flys by like the TARDIS. Super quick.
Well, love you all a lot! Ill see you soon!
